Best Teacher’s Award 2007Ex students of this institution are doing commendable service in Arunachal Pradesh in various capacities. The institution, thus earnestly strives to create through its holistic approach a life-long learning culture for the harmonious development of personality – physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual based on the man-making, character building and nation-building ideas of Swami Vivekananada.
The School is now one of the premier educational institution for girls in Arunachal Pradesh: Every year the students are achieving very high percentage in the academics & are bagging gold medals in the State level and national level competitions.
Best Teacher’s Award 2007: Smt. Shubha Acharyya one of our teacher has been awarded by Best Teacher’s Award in 2007. She also won the title of Broad Outlook Learner Teacher in 2006.
Khonsa School stood First in the National Level Science Seminar
We are happy to record that a student (tribal) of class IX of our Khonsa School stood First in the National Level Science Seminar organized by the National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata held at the Nehru Science Science Centre., Mumbai.
Subject: Chandrayan—Promises and concerns. The Programme was inaugurated by the eminent scientist and Ex- President of India Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam and prizes were distributed by Sri M. Annadurali Project Director of Chandrayan.
In the National Level Science Seminar for the past three years:
Miss Duyu Udi (Cl. IX) secured the second position in the National level in by NCSM in 2008. The topic was: `Water Crisis : Problems & Remedies’.
Miss Sonam Lhamu Monpa (Cl.IX ) was declared Ist in the National Level conducted in 2009. The Topic was ‘Chandrayaan: Prospects and Concerns’.
Miss Rikmi Changmi (Cl.IX) secured the second position at the State level Seminar in 2010. The Topic was : ‘India and World Science: Are We there?
